CHROMABOND® SB is a quaternary ammonium modified silica anion exchanger (SAX) for SPE.
- Base material: Silica
- Strongly basic anion exchanger
Recommended for ion exchange of organic compounds (e.g. organic acids, fatty acids, nucleotides) from aqueous matrix. It is not suited for very strong anions such as sulphonic acids, due to the difficult elution.
Cation exchange capacity: ~0,3 meq/g
