These sterile stitch cutters are made from either carbon steel or stainless steel.

The traditional carbon steel standard stitch cutter with its rounded bull nose tip which ensures there is no damage to the skin whilst the surgical edge cuts through the suture with minimal resistance.

The long stitch cutter allows for a more aseptic techinique by operating further away from the actual wound which also permits better visibility
