These septa are available for a variety of applications and have different upper temperature limits. The lower temperature septa are usually softer, seal better and can withstand more punctures (injections) than their high temperature counterparts.

Made up low bleed silicone rubber formulations
Efficient by using sharp syringe needles
Septa should be replaced to avoid leaks and sample loss
To be used with recommended temperature range
