Congo Red ≥98% Amyloid fibril-binding dye

Amyloid fibril-binding dye. Caspase inhibitor. Red shifts on aggregation and binding to amyloid fibrils. Blue shifts on binding to cellulose. Shows apple green birefringence under polarised light in the presence of amyloid fibrils. Inhibits Fib-beta A neurotoxicity.
