This thermometer is designed to measure the temperature of liquid and gaseous media in various industries, including the petrochemical, oil refining, as well as in the fuel and energy complex.

Thermometers indicate factory number, type of standard and measurement range. The temperature scale is applied with dark indelible enamel, as well as highly resistant to aggressive chemical environments. On partial immersion thermometers, the depth is indicated by a ring line.
Until 10th October 2017 it is still allowed to use mercury thermometers if they are exclusively intended to be used for tests as per standards which require the usage of mercury thermometers.
