Used e.g. to form homogeneous magnetic fields. Two identical coils placed in parallel by means of three fastening devices. The coils can be connected in series or in parallel. To determine e/m, the wire beam tube is placed between the Helmholtz coils in such a way that the visible beam is perpendicular to the homogeneous magnetic field. The generated magnetic field can be measured with a magnetic field meter with hall elements. Specifications.
