This experiment introduces chromatographic theory and methods of thin layer chromatography (TLC). A mixture of dyes are separated on a cellulose-based TLC plate using different solvent systems.
- For 8 lab groups
- Spotting plates 20 minutes, TLC separation 5 minutes
Also required: 5ml or 10 ml pipettes.
Delivery: Kit includes instructions, samples, reagents and solvents, cellulose TLC plate, 5 µl capillary pipettes.
