Silica phase are high and medium polar compounds, most popular polar phase, mainly used for flash applications. C18 WP (wide pores) has a ideal application in peptides.

C18 phase are low polar and non-polar compounds, most popular non-polar phase. Amino phase are high and medium polar molecules example carbohydrates and amines. Alumina wide variety of molecules example acidic, basic or acid sensitive compounds.

Diol, C18 and amino phase has spherical particle shape. Silica and alumina has irregular shape.

Loading capacity: 0,1 to 10% for Silica, Silica LOK and 0,1 to 2,5% for C18.
