NUCLEODUR® CN and CN-RP are cyano (nitrile) modified silica phases for HPLC.

With its high retention capacity the phase is especially suited for very polar and unsaturated compounds such as organic acids, steroids, and tricyclic antidepressants.

NUCLEODUR® CN with the column eluent n-heptane is designed for normal phase mode (NP). The ready-to-use CN-RP columns with acetonitrile – water for reversed phase mode (RP).

EC guard columns are used for analytical EC columns with the Column Protection System guard column holder (554-5851).
