Termometre
Termometre er tilgængelige i flere varianter til forskellige anvendelser. Målingerne er hovedsageligt baseret på væske eller metal som udvider sig når det varmes op. Eksemplerne på dette er alkohol eller bimetal termometre. De elektroniske termometre kræver typisk at ledningsevnen i metallet ændrer sig i takt med temperaturen. Elektroniske termometre med sensorer bruges til overvågning inde i udstyret eller i ydre områder for at sikre optimale forhold opretholdes. Sensorer som reagerer på akutte ændringer i temperaturen viser fortløbende aflæsninger til info for de ansatte. Uagtet hvad målingen viser kan kalibrerede termometre måle nøjagtigt for at kunne kontrollere og regulere processerne.
