Blokke til brug i varmeapparater og tørbade har forskellige antal brønde til at bearbejde mange prøver på én gang. Modellerne holder sikkert reagensglas, mikrocentrifugerør, hætteglas, centrifugerør med konisk bund eller PCR-plader, rør og strimler i tæt kontakt under opvarmningsprocessen for optimal varmeoverførsel. Fremstillet af massivt, anodiseret aluminium giver blokkene maksimal varmeretentionskapacitet. Udskiftelige, modulære blokke blander prøver og kan understøtte brug af termometer til nem overvågning af forholdene.
