Tankene har lave ekstraktionsniveauer, fremragende kemikalieresistens og indbygget UV-modstand for at beskytte lysfølsomme opløsninger. Yderligere funktioner såsom støbte gradueringer og udvendige haner findes i visse modeller. Selvstøttende, sømløse vægge er modstandsdygtige over for rust, korrosion og buler.
