For at beskytte både medarbejderne og dit udstyr bør du altid bruge et ventilationsfilter. Disse enheder fungerer som barrierer i luftledninger. De indeholder hydrofobt medie, som forhindrer indtrængen af vand og aerosoler i følsomt udstyr og samtidig beskytter laboratoriemiljøet mod aerosoliserede patogener. Ventilationsfiltre gør det også muligt for luft at komme ind og ud af beholdere som f.eks. bioreaktorer, mens steriliteten i det indre miljø opretholdes.
