BOD-flasker
BOD-flasker (biologisk iltforbrug) anvendes til at bestemme mængden af ilt, der kræves under stabiliseringen af nedbrydende organisk materiale ved aerob aktivitet. Beholderne bruges til inkubation af fortyndede prøver af spildevand, spildevandseffluenter, forurenet vand og industrielt affald. Flaskerne er fremstillet af borosilikatglas, som har høj kemikalieresistens. BOD-flasker har permanent påtrykt etiket og fås med glaspropper. Mørkere glasmodeller er ideelle til håndtering af lysfølsomme prøver.
