Hoveder
Hoveder fungerer som opsamlingsbeholder i mikroskala destillationsapparater under blandingsrensningsprocedurer. Med glasoverfladen, der køler de stigende dampe, fanger enhederne den tilbagevendende væske i cirkulære fordybninger i bunden af røret. Udførelser med port gør opløsningsmiddelopsamling mindre krævende, da udtagning kan ske uden at afmontere apparatet. Ved at reducere det samlede hold-up-volumen fås hoveder i forskellige samlingsstørrelser, så de nemt kan forbindes med eksisterende glasudstyr.
