Universalglas anvendes til opsamling af jord- og medieprøver til testprocesser. Den tykvægge konstruktion er kemikalieresistent for at imødekomme test af semivolatile stoffer. De fås i klar eller ravfarvet udførelse, og arkiveringsbeholderne kan opbevare selv følsomme materialer. Med et typisk bredhalsdesign kan indhold nemt tilsættes eller fjernes. Prægede gradueringer muliggør øjeblikkelige optiske målinger af prøver. Universalglas kan leveres med septum- eller foret låg eller uden lukning.
