Kloning buffere
I molekylærbiologi anvendes kloningsbufferopløsninger, der indeholder TRIS, eddikesyre, EDTA eller lignende, til agarosegelelektroforese, typisk til adskillelse af nukleinsyrer såsom DNA og RNA. Der findes forskellige bufferformuleringer med forskellige basisingredienser. Disse blandinger har varierende bufferkapacitet og køretider. Bufferopløsninger beskytter prøver mod pH-ændringer under mange forskellige kemiske anvendelser.
