Dendritic cell generation medium

PromoCell Dendritic Cell (DC) Generation Medium has been developed for the easy and efficient generation of immature as well as fully mature myeloid dendritic cells from peripheral blood monocytes.

The DC Generation Medium allows for the generation of DC from cryopreserved as well as freshly isolated cells. In the latter case, the Monocyte Attachment Medium is also needed.

The DC Generation Medium DXF is a defined and xeno-free formulation for use with freshly isolated cells. It is free of all animal derived components and substances of human origin with Human Serum Albumin as the only exception.

The DC Base Media do not include cytokines and must therefore be supplemented according to the user’s individual needs.

The Monocyte Attachment Medium allows for the efficient adherence selection of Monocytes from freshly isolated Mononuclear Cells (MNC) while maintaining optimal cell health. Thus, the time-consuming and costly immunomagnetic purification of monocytes prior to dendritic cell generation is not necessary and can be skipped.
