The TopStream 400 Safe In liquid pump is used for delicate and large volume suction of cell culture medium and laboratory liquids. The system has been specially developed for the Herasafe biological safety workbench from Thermo Scientific. The pump technology allows the connection of standard laboratory glass bottles that are already available in every biological laboratory. Furthermore, 5 L Bürkle flat tanks can be combined with the pump and workbench. Any desired plastic containers can also be connected as a collecting container. The pump system, including the pump head, can be disinfected with a Bacillol AF or 80% ethanol disinfectant solution. The system is thus chemically sterilised and prevents contamination and infections. With the perfect aerosol protection, the system maintains the safe air flow of the safety workbench and thus personal protection. EN 12469 for safety workbenches is thus complied with. Various pump module holders for the safety workbench are available as accessories. The pump can be plugged directly into the safety cabinet's socket using a special holder.
