Gamma irradiation sterilisation bags can be used as the primary, secondary, or tertiary packaging of items that will go through gamma irradiation processing, or sterilisation.
- Appropriate for packaging of items that will be exposed to gamma radiation dose ranges between 15 and 50 kGy
- After irradiation processing the process indicator will turn from yellow to red
- The bags will provide protection of the contents from environmental factors, which could compromise sterility
- Made of a transparent, strong, 3 mil thick medical grade polyolefin material with a self-sealing adhesive closure
- Feature a starter slit to facilitate easy opening of the bag without the need for cutting instruments, which could damage the contents
- Gamma Irradiation Sterilisation Bags are not autoclavable
