NS joints with threaded socket, solid.
- Made from Borosilicate 3.3 glass
- Increased wall thickness
- Threaded sleeve prevents unintentional loosening of the ground joint
- Firmly seated ground joints can be loosened more easily here, the danger of glass breakage and associated risks is thus minimised
- Use in equipment for handling hazardous substances or working with pressure differences in the high vacuum range
- Tight closure due to standard ground joint
In order to meet high safety demands, e.g. when dealing with hazardous substances or pressure differences, DURAN® Safety Joints offer very good protection against accidental loosening of the connection. Furthermore, DURAN® Safety Joints offer a system to separate jammed cones and sockets. This minimises the risk of breakage and related threats. The DURAN® cores with collar are designed for this purpose with an additionally formed glass ring.
