Reconstitution: Reconstitute with water to a final concentration of 1 mg/ml (use 1 ml for the 1 mg size or 5 ml for the 5 mg size) for a final solution of 1 mg/ml in 0,40 mM sodium phosphate, 6 mM NaCl, pH 7,45. Reconstitute with water to a final concentration of 25 mg/ml (0,2 ml water for the 5 mg size). This concentration of the lectin has been used for iontophoresis and neuron transport.
Carbohydrate Specificity: PHA-L recognizes a complex branched chain oligosaccharide structure.
