- Description:Human Renal Cortical Epithelial Cells (HRCEpC) 1×106 cells, dissolved in 200 μl RNAlater®
Primary human renal cortical epithelial cells (HRCEpC) are isolated from the cortex of the human kidney and stain positive for cytokeratin.
The renal cortex is the outer portion of the kidney between the renal capsule and the renal medulla. It contains the renal corpuscles, the proximal and distal convoluted tubules, and the cortical collecting ducts. Important physiological processes like osmoregulation and excretion can be studied with HRCEpC in vitro.
Applications include: Drug uptake studies, toxicological research, wound healing research, oncology, cell differentiation studies, respiratory disease research.
: Human Renal Cortical Epithelial Cells can be ordered as cryopreserved or proliferating cells. Cell pellets stored in RNAlater® are also available.
