These highly robust plates and flexible sheets with gypsum and polymeric binder systems are well-suitable for every standard application.

SIL G glass plates with a layer thickness from 500 to 2000 µm are used for preparative TLC.
SIL G-25 HR plates are coated with high purity silica 60, bonded with gypsum and a very small quantity of a polymeric organic binder. They are recommended for aflatoxin separations.
SIL G-25 Tenside plates are impregnated with ammonium sulphate and are applied for separations of surfactants.

Silica 60: Specific surface (BET) ~ 500 m2/g; specific pore volume 0,75 ml/g; particle size 5 to 17 μm.
