RS232 and USB interface enables PC control of the magnetic stirrer and documentation of all test parameters. 'Lock' function prevents inadvertent changes of speed and temperature settings. As a safety feature, a 'hot' sign flashes when the unit is switched off but the heating surface is still hot. Unit has a DIN 12878 socket for connecting an electronic contact thermometer, for high precision temperature control and also features detached magnet detection and has a BNC socket for a pH electrode.
