Borosilicate glass with PTFE stirrer shaft insert and PTB screw cap ideal fit based on the screw fixing and insert position. The medium or gas to be stirred comes into contact with glass or PTFE. As vacuum-tight stirring cannot be achieved due to the cold flow of PTFE (Hostaflon), a sealing element made of Viton is located in the top part of the replaceable stirrer shaft. This sealing element creates a vacuum-tight connection between the stirrer shaft and agitator shafts. This design ensures excellent results from mixing trials in a vacuum, as well as for long-term trials at high speeds.
