Anti-FAIM2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Bioss

Programmed cell death regulates a number of biological processes such as normal organism development, tissue homeostasis, and removal of damaged cells. Disruption of this process has been implicated in a variety of diseases such as cancer. FAIM2 is a recently identified protein that can inhibit the apoptotic signal transduced by the Fas receptor but not from the related tumor necrosis factor-alpha death signal. In this respect, FAIM2 is functionally similar to the anti-apoptotic proteins FAIM, FLIP and Bcl-xL. FAIM2, a seven membrane spanning protein, can bind the Fas receptor but does not regulate Fas expression or inhibit binding of FADD to Fas. FAIM2 is widely distributed, but highly expressed in the hippocampus and other neural tissues. FAIM2 was also identified as the neural membrane protein 35 (NMP35) and its expression is known to be regulated by the Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-Akt/PKB pathway.

Human recombinant KIR2DL4 (from Cells)

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

Killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptor 2DL4(KIR2DL4) is a Single-pass type I membrane protein and contains 2 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains. It belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. KIR2DL4 is expressed in all NK cells and some T cells. KIR2DL4 activates the cytotoxicity of NK cells, despite the presence of an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibition motif (ITIM) in its cytoplasmic tail. The ITIM was not necessary for activation of lysis by KIR2DL4. The activation signal of KIR2DL4 was sensitive to inhibition by another ITIM-containing receptor. The activation-deficient mutant of KIR2DL4 inhibited the signal delivered by the activating receptor CD16.

Anti-NAIP5 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: Naipa-1]

Anti-NAIP5 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: Naipa-1]

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

The inflammasome is a multiprotein complex that mediates the activation of caspase-1, which promotes, amongst others, the secretion of the proinflammatory cytokines interleukin (IL)-1beta and IL-18. Members of the Nod-like receptor (NLR) family are critical components of the inflammasome that link danger-signals to caspase-1 activation. The NLR member IPAF/NLRC4 senses bacterial flagellin and a conserved type III secretion system (TTSS) rod component. A member of the NLR family, NAIP5 directly and specifically interacts with flagellin, triggers a physical NAIP5-NLRC4 association leading to NLRC4 activation. The related NAIP2 functions analogously to NAIP5, serving as a specific inflammasome receptor for TTSS rod proteins such as Salmonella PrgJ and Burkholderia BsaK.

Human recombinant LIF (from E. coli)

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

LIF has the capacity to induce terminal differentiation in leukemic cells. Its activities also include the induction of hematopoietic differentiation in normal and myeloid leukaemia cells, the induction of neuronal cell differentiation and the stimulation of acute-phase protein synthesis in hepatocytes. LIF activates JAK & STAT signalling in human embryonic stem (ES) cells, but this pathway does not maintain pluripotency in these cells, which instead rely on FGF2-mediated ERK signalling. By contrast, mouse ES cells can be maintained by LIF-mediated JAK & STAT signalling. LIF binds to a high affinity heterodimeric receptor complex consisting of two proteins: LIF-R alpha that binds LIF with low affinity and the 130kDa (gp130) subunit that by itself does not bind LIF, but is required for high affinity binding of LIF.

Anti-LIF Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-LIF Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

LIF Antibody: LIF is a pleiotropic cytokine with roles in several different systems. It is involved in the induction of hematopoietic differentiation in normal and myeloid leukemia cells, induction of neuronal cell differentiation, regulator of mesenchymal to epithelial conversion during kidney development, and may also have a role in immune tolerance at the maternal-fetal interface. LIF was initially recognized by its ability to induce terminal differentiation of myeloid leukemic cells. It is a member of the IL-6 cytokine superfamily and can be highly glycosylated. LIF signaling is transduced through the LIF-R/gp130 receptor complex, leading to the phosphorylation and activation of the JAK/STAT pathway. Recent evidence shows that LIF inhibits cardiomyogenesis in embryonic stem cells via STAT3 activation.

Mouse recombinant IL10 (from E. coli)

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

Mouse Il10 is the prototypic member of the IL-10 cytokine family, including IL-10, IL-19, IL-20, IL-22 (IL-TIF), IL-24 and IL-26. Many viruses encode viral members of the IL-10 family, such as Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and human cytomegalovirus (HCMV).Its main function is inhibiting the synthesis of a number of cytokines, including IFN-gamma, IL-2, IL-3, TNF and GM-CSF produced by activated macrophages and by helper T-cells. Although human and mouse IL-10 are 81% identical at the nucleotide and amino acid level, mouse IL-10 is species-specific and does not act on human cells. Interestingly, Human IL-10 is active on mouse cells.

Human recombinant OPG (from cells)

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

TNFRSF11B is a secreted protein, containing 2 death domains and 4 TNFR-Cys repeats. TNFRSF11B is a decoy receptor for the receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa B ligand (RANKL). By binding RANKL, TNFRSF11B inhibits nuclear kappa B (NF-κB) which is a central and rapid acting transcription factor for immune-related genes, and a key regulator of inflammation, innate immunity, and cell survival and differentiation. TNFRSF11B levels are influenced by voltage-dependent calcium channelsCav1.2. TNFRSF11B can reduce the production of osteoclasts by inhibiting the differentiation of osteoclast precursors (osteoclasts are related to monocytes/macrophages and are derived from granulocyte/macrophage-forming colony units (CFU-GM)) into osteoclasts and also regulates the resorption of osteoclasts in vitroand in vivo. TNFRSF11B binding to RANKL on osteoblast/stromal cells, blocks the RANKL-RANK ligand interaction between osteoblast/stromal cells and osteoclast precursors. This has the effect of inhibiting the differentiation of the osteoclast precursor into a mature osteoclast.

Anti-NAIP Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-NAIP Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

NAIP Antibody: Neuronal apoptosis inhibitor protein (NAIP) was the first human inhibitor of apoptosis protein (IAP) identified and was discovered by its association with the neurodegenerative disorder spinal muscular atrophy. Members of the IAP family contain one to three copies of an approximately 70 amino acid motif termed baculovirus IAP repeat (BIR); these BIRs promote protein-protein interactions with various caspases such as caspase-3, -7, and -9 as well as members of the TRAF family of signal molecules. Unlike other IAPs however, NAIP requires ATP to bind caspase-9 and is not inhibited by the IAP-inhibiting molecule Smac/DIABLO, suggesting that NAIP is unique among the IAPs in its regulation of its activity. Finally, although only one human NAIP protein has been identified, other shorter NAIP mRNA transcripts have been reported.

Anti-FAIM Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-FAIM Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

FAIM Antibody: The susceptibility of primary splenic B cells to Fas-mediated apoptosis is regulated in a receptor-specific fashion. Terminal effectors of B cell Fas-resistance include the known anti-apoptotic proteins Bcl-xL, FLIP, and a recently identified protein termed FAIM. This molecule is broadly expressed in various tissues and exists in at least three isoforms. It is thought that resistance to Fas killing via increased expression of FAIM protects foreign antigen-specific B cells during interactions with FasL-bearing T cells whereas autoreactive B cells are deleted via Fas-dependent cytotoxicity. More recent results have indicated that FAIM interacts with both Trk and p75 neurotrophin receptor and may play a role in promoting neurite outgrowth in different neuronal systems by a mechanism involving the activation of NF-kappa B and the Ras-ERK pathway.
