Anti-Hephaestin Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (ALEXA FLUOR® 750)
Supplier: Bioss
Hephaestin is a single-pass type I membrane protein that belongs to the multicopper oxidase family of proteins. Hephaestin, a copper-dependant ferroxidase protein, is crucial for iron exiting intestinal enterocytes into the circulation. It mediates the movement of iron across the basolateral membrane in conjunction with ferroportin 1. This is an important link between iron and copper metabolism in mammalian systems, as copper deficiency leads to reduced hephaestin and reduced iron absorption resulting in anemia. Hephaestin can bind six copper ions per monomer and is regulated by the homeobox transcription factor CDX2. Increased levels of iron leads to an increase in CDX2 expression and thus Hephaestin. Hephaestin is primarily detected in the intestine, but is also expressed in colon, breast, bone trabecural cells and fibroblasts.

Anti-SUMO 1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (HRP (Horseradish PE (Phycoerythrin)rOxidase))
Supplier: Bioss
Ubiquitin-like protein that can be covalently attached to proteins as a monomer or a lysine-linked polymer. Covalent attachment via an isopeptide bond to its substrates requires prior activation by the E1 complex SAE1-SAE2 and linkage to the E2 enzyme UBE2I, and can be promoted by E3 ligases such as PIAS1-4, RANBP2 or CBX4. This post-translational modification on lysine residues of proteins plays a crucial role in a number of cellular processes such as nuclear transport, DNA replication and repair, mitosis and signal transduction. Involved for instance in targeting RANGAP1 to the nuclear pore complex protein RANBP2. Polymeric SUMO1 chains are also susceptible to polyubiquitination which functions as a signal for proteasomal degradation of modified proteins. May also regulate a network of genes involved in palate development.

Anti-GPR21 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 488)
Supplier: Bioss
G protein-coupled receptors (GPRs), also known as seven transmembrane receptors, heptahelical receptors or 7TM receptors, comprise a superfamily of proteins that play a role in many different stimulus-response pathways. G protein coupled receptors translate extracellular signals into intracellular signals (G protein activation) and they respond to a variety of signaling molecules, such as hormones and neurotransmitters. GPR21 is a 349 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that functions as an orphan receptor and belongs to the GPR1 family. The gene encoding GPR21 maps to human chromosome 9, which houses over 900 genes and comprises nearly 4% of the human genome. Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, which is characterized by harmful vascular defects, and Familial dysautonomia, are both associated with chromosome 9.

Anti-Coxsackie Adenovirus Receptor Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 750)
Supplier: Bioss
Component of the epithelial apical junction complex that may function as an homophilic cell adhesion molecule and is essential for tight junction integrity. Also involved in transepithelial migration of leukocytes through adhesive interactions with AMICA1/JAML a transmembrane protein of the plasma membrane of leukocytes. The interaction between both receptors also mediates the activation of gamma-delta T-cells, a subpopulation of T-cells residing in epithelia and involved in tissue homeostasis and repair. Upon epithelial CXADR-binding, AMICA1 induces downstream cell signaling events in gamma-delta T-cells through PI3-kinase and MAP kinases. It results in proliferation and production of cytokines and growth factors by T-cells that in turn stimulate epithelial tissues repair.

Anti-SOX21 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 488)
Supplier: Bioss
Sox genes comprise a family of genes that are related to the mammalian sex determining gene SRY. These genes similarly contain sequences that encode for the HMG-box domain, which is responsible for the sequence-specific DNA-binding activity. Sox genes encode putative transcriptional regulators implicated in the decision of cell fates during development and the control of diverse developmental processes. The highly complex group of Sox genes cluster at least 40 different loci that rapidly diverged in various animal lineages. At present, 30 Sox genes have been identified. Members of this family have been shown to be conserved during evolution and to play key roles during animal development. Some are involved in human diseases, including sex reversal.

Anti-ATP1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 750)
Supplier: Bioss
TMEM103, also known as C3orf75, is a 266 amino acid protein encoded by a gene mapping to human chromosome 3. Chromosome 3 is made up of about 214 million bases encoding over 1100 genes. Notably, there is a chemokine receptor gene cluster and a variety of human cancer related loci on chromosome 3. Particular regions of the chromosome 3 short arm are deleted in many types of cancer cells. Key tumour suppressing genes on chromosome 3 encode apoptosis mediator RASSF1, cell migration regulator HYAL1 and angiogenesis suppressor SEMA3B. Marfan Syndrome, porphyria, von Hippel-Lindau syndrome, osteogenesis imperfecta and Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease are a few of the numerous genetic diseases associated with chromosome 3.

Anti-Limd1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 750)
Supplier: Bioss
The Zyxin family of proteins contains five members: Ajuba, Limd1, LPP, TRIP6 and Zyxin. Limd1 (LIM domain-containing protein 1) is a ubiquitously expressed tumor suppressor containing 3 LIM zinc-binding domains. LIM domains consist of a cysteine-rich consensus sequence containing two distinct zinc-binding subdomains, which mediate protein-protein interactions. Limd1 interacts with the proteins SQSTM1, Rb, p62 and TRAF6. Limd1 was first identified when the deletion of its gene was noted in some cervical cancers. Limd1 blocks in vitro and in vivo tumor growth and is down-regulated in lung cancer. Limd1 may regulate osteoclast development under stressful conditions via its interactions with TRAF6 and p62.

Anti-RIMS3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 750)
Supplier: Bioss
Rab 3, a neural/neuroendocrine-specific member of the Rab family, is involved in Ca²⁺ regulated exocytosis and functions in an inhibitory capacity, controlling the recruitment and pooling of secretory vesicles at the plasma membrane. The Rim (Rab 3 interacting molecule) family of proteins (Rim1, Rim2, Rim3 and Rim4) are multidomain adaptors that regulate Rab 3 activity and sub-sequent neurotransmitter release. Rim3, also known as RIMS3 (regulating synaptic membrane exocytosis 3) or NIM3, is a 308 amino acid member of the Rim family. localised to the synapse and to cell junctions, Rim3 contains one C2 domain and is thought to play an important role in the regulation of synaptic membrane exocytosis. Rim3, a protein that may be phosphorylated upon DNA damage, is expressed throughout the body with highest levels present in brain tissue.

Anti-CXORF21 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Cy7®)
Supplier: Bioss
The X and Y chromosomes are the human sex chromosomes. Chromosome X consists of about 153 million base pairs and nearly 1,000 genes. The combination of an X and Y chromosome lead to normal male development while two copies of X lead to normal female development. There are a number of conditions related to an unsual number and combination of sex chromosomes being inherited. More than one copy of the X chromosome with a Y chromosome causes Klinefelter's syndrome. A single copy of X alone leads to Turner's syndrome. More than 2 copies of the X chromosome, in the absence of a Y chromosome, is known as Triple X syndrome. Color blindness, hemophilia, and Duchenne muscular dystrophy are well known X chromosome-linked conditions which affect males more frequently as males carry a single X chromosome. The CXorf21 gene product has been provisionally designated CXorf21 pending further characterization.
