Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a nucleic acid that stores long-term information regarding the development and function of all known living organisms. DNA consists of two long nucleotide polymers, which are composed of four bases, namely adenine, thymine, guanine and cytosine, all of which are flanked by a phosphate-deoxyribose backbone. This mAb can be used to stain the nuclei in cell or tissue preparations and can be used as a nuclear marker in human cells.

Immunofluorescence: 1 - 2 µg/ml Immunocytochemistry (Acetone-fixed): 0,5 - 1 µg/ml for 30 min at RT Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1 - 2 µg/ml for 30 min at RT (1) Titering of the dsDNA antibody may be required for optimal performance.

1. FFPE testing requires sections to be boiled in pH6 10 mM citrate buffer for 10 - 20 minutes, followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes, prior to staining.
2. The prediluted format is supplied in a dropper bottle and is optimised for use in IHC. After epitope retrieval step (if required), drip mAb solution onto the tissue section and incubate at RT for 30 min.
