The ergonomically designed BiOptima Class II microbiological safety cabinets ensure optimum efficiency and high-level energy savings. BiOptima provides operator protection with the inflow air barrier, product protection thanks to HEPA-filtered laminar downflow in the working area and environmental protection through the exhaust HEPA filter. BiOptima Cyto is available in 120 or 180 cm (4 or 6’) widths as standard.

The front window allows complete and comfortable access to the working chamber, making cleaning easy and making it possible to place large objects and accessories in the working chamber. The cabinet body is made of epoxy coated steel with an AISI 304L stainless steel internal working chamber with rounded angles and hardened security glass sides. The front window is anti-reflective with UV protection. BiOptima Cyto is designed for high risk microbiological and high toxic applications, such as the production of cytotoxic medicines, as specified by the DIN12980 Standard.

The BiOptima cabinets offer a very spacious work area, 550 mm in depth and 700 mm in height, which enables productivity and comfort with plenty of space, in a smart compact design with an overall height of only 1450 mm. It is also extremely easy to clean, the one piece working chamber is made from AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded edges inside the cabinet to facilitate effective disinfection and maximise contamination prevention. In addition, the electrically operated front window slides upwards offering 500 mm H access.

The BiOptima series is defined by the ergonomic sloped front window, the easy-to-clean hinged front window, V shaped front grills and rounded arm rest for maximum comfort, energy efficient dimmable LED lights and energy saving EC fans. All units are fitted as standard with UV light and a maintenance reducing full size G3 pre-filter under the work surface that prevents large particles or dust from reaching the HEPA filters, effectively doubling HEPA filter lifetime.

Service friendly: BiOptima is fitted with the innovative 4F System (Fast, Friendly and eFFicient) Telstar system for filter replacement. Filters are easily accessible from the front of the cabinet and using the fast clamping/unclamping device the time required to replace the filters is dramatically reduced.
BiOptima Cyto is equipped with additional V-shaped HEPA filters underneath the work surface, which filter the inflow air and keep the internal construction of the cabinet free of contamination and therefore ensures the outmost safety for high risk applications. Safe replacement of the V-shaped HEPA filters is possible while the operator is protected by inflow air.
