About this item
Triosephosphate isomerase has been used in a study to assess changes in cardiac energy metabolic pathways in overweight rats fed a high-fat diet.
- One unit will convert 1,0 μmol D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate to dihydroxyacetone phosphate per minute at pH 7,6 at 25 °C
- Sulphte-free, contains EDTA and borate buffer salts
- Type: Type X
- Form: Lyophilised powder
- Composition: Protein, 60 to 90% biuret
Triosephosphate isomerase has also been used in a study to investigate proteomic identification of carbonylated proteins in F344 rat hippocampus after 1-bromopropane exposure.
foreign activity includes pyruvate kinase, lactic dehydrogenase, 3-phosphoglyceric phosphokinase, phosphoglucose isomerase, α-glycerophosphate dehydrogenase, aldolase and glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase ≤0,01%.
Packaging: Packed in serum bottle.
