The assembly (with the inner tube slightly elevated) is slowly lowered into the container being sampled. When the sample has been collected, the tube is lowered and the inner tube is pressed tightly to positively seat the Teflon seal. The 200 ml sample can be transferred to a suitable container without any loss. Components are prescored for easy disposal.
