For the detection of Cytochrome c translocation from mitochondria into cytosol during apoptosis.
The kit provides an easy-to-use procedure and reagents for separating a mitochondria-enriched fraction from cytosol. Cytochrome c released from mitochondria into cytosol is determined by Western blot using the cytochrome c antibody provided in the kit. The procedure is simple, straightforward and requires no ultracentrifugation.
: Kit includes Mitochondria Extraction Buffer (10 mL), 5X Cytosol Extraction Buffer (20 mL), 1 M DTT (110 µL), 500X Protease Inhibitor Cocktail (1 vial), 0.2 mg/mL Cytochrome c Antibody (0.5 mL).
