The ARE-6 has an aluminium alloy top plate, analogue speed and temperature controls.

The AREX-6 has a fast heating CerAlTop™ plate which protects from chemicals, scratches and enhances the life time of the unit. Upgradable to digital with the connection of VTF or VTF EVO external thermoregulators.

The AREX-6 Digital has an integrated timer, from 1 minute up to 99 hours or unsupervised operation. Two independent safety circuits automatically switch off the heating in event of over-temperature. State-of-the-art thermoregulation: Stable and fast with minimal overshoot. The powerful PID thermoregulation software allows the operator to set the probe parameters in two different modes: Fine (optimised low temperature overshoot) or, fast (with higher overshoot). A Service Life Meter records the working time of both the motor and the heating element. The operator can set the auto-reverse option for enhanced kinetics at a preferred time interval. The probe icon is illuminated when the PT100 or VTF/VTF EVO is connected. Adjustable temperature limit, if the probe is not correctly immersed in the medium the instrument stops heating up and displays a probe alarm.

The AREX-6 Digital PRO has the same features as the AREX-6 Digital, this unit also includes a connection for external digital thermoregulators.
