Hygrometr je přístroj používaný k měření vlhkosti v atmosféře. Složky těchto měření zahrnují teplotu, tlak, hmotnost nebo náboj přítomný v látce při absorpci vlhkosti. Moderní elektronická zařízení používají teplotu kondenzace nebo změny elektrického odporu k měření rozdílů vlhkosti. Hygrometry vypočítávají relativní vlhkost vzduchu pro ověření požadovaných laboratorních podmínek a ochranu materiálů před vlivy prostředí.
