Bloky pro použití v ohřívačích a suchých lázních mají různé počty jamek, aby bylo možné současně zpracovat mnoho vzorků. Modely bezpečně drží zkumavky, mikrozkumavky, lahvičky, centrifugační zkumavky s kuželovým dnem nebo PCR destičky, zkumavky a proužky v těsném kontaktu během procesu zahřívání pro ideální přenos tepla. Bloky vyrobené z masivního eloxovaného hliníku nabízejí maximální zadržování tepla. Vyměnitelné modulární bloky míchají vzorky a mohou podporovat použití teploměru pro snadné sledování podmínek.
