Kapkovací destička
Neaktivní barvicí destičky identifikují minerály tím, že usnadňují vzhled charakteristických barev. Přejetím vzorku přes testovací destičky se barva zanechaná na neglazovaném povrchu používá k určení látky. Když se do prohlubní v destičce na vzorky obsahujících vzorek přidají kapalné indikátory, bílý nebo čirý podklad jasně ukazuje vzniklý odstín. Reakční barvicí destičky jsou také k dispozici v černém provedení, aby bylo snadné vidět vznikající bílé sraženiny.
