Separovací nálevky standardního tvaru používají jemné převracení k oddělení různých hustot ve směsi. Přístroje mají rychle uzavíratelné kohoutky, které uvolňují přebytečný tlak par před samotným oddělením. Více otvorů umožňuje současné vypuštění různých složek. Spodní průměry stopky jsou ve velkých velikostech pro rychlé a úplné rozdělení. Autoklávovatelné varianty kompatibilní s běžnými rozpouštědly nebo agresivními chemikáliemi jsou dostupné v různých kapacitách. Zátky a kohoutky mohou být součástí balení.
