Barevná stupnice pro vyhodnocení testu je vytištěna na každém zkumavce. Porovnání mezi barvou roztoku a barevnou stupnicí potvrdí, jestli je zkoumaný povrch čistý nebo špinavý. Pro provedení testu postačí přetřít pruhem navlhčeného tampónu po zkoumaném povrchu a pak ho ponořit do zkumavky. Rozbijte skleněnou vialku s roztokem umístěnou uvnitř zkumavky pomocí svorky. Po dokončení testu je možné zkumavku zlikvidovat společně s komunálním odpadem. Zkumavky s testem by měly být skladovány při pokojové teplotě.
