Whatman™ filters for air testing
The importance of air quality monitoring is increasing because of the high pollution levels found in ambient air. Emission sources can be natural or caused by industrial, agricultural or transport activities. Ultrafine particles (UFPs) have become a key area of interest in environmental monitoring because studies have demonstrated their potentially significant impacts on air quality and health.
Heavy metals, organics and inorganics such as ozone, volatile organic carbons, SO2, NO2, CO, benzoate and asbestos should also be monitored.
Whatman™ offers dedicated filters for manual and automated particulate monitoring. These filters can be used for sampling in normal or aggressive environments for radioactivity, metal or asbestos testing.
Select from 13 types of Whatman™ filters for air sample testing:
- PM2.5 membrane filters
