HiTrap™ MabSelect™ columns are prepacked with MabSelect™, a Bioprocess medium for capuring of monoclonal antibodies(Mabs) from large sample volumes.
- Specificity of binding to the Fc region of IgG is similar to that of native protein A, which allows one-step purification
- Oriented coupling of recombinant Protein A to the matrix via an engineered C-terminal cysteine enhances IgG binding capacity
- Fewer regulatory concerns due to the total absence of mammalian culture in the ligand production and purification
