SFCA membrane; PP housing: Use for immunological samples and biological fluids. Low protein binding, lower extractables than standard CA.

CA membrane; PP housing: Ideal for buffers, aqueous reagents and solutions, including EIA and ELISA samples. Some protein binding and extractables. For sterile filtration and clarification of buffers, aqueous solutions and reagents.

Nylon membrane; PP housing: Good for cryoprotectants such as DMSO and filtration of aqueous biological solutions, alcoholic solutions and non-aqueous HPLC/GC solvents. Naturally hydrophilic, low extractables, some protein binding.

PTFE membrane; PP housing: Naturally hydrophobic for sterile venting applications and filtration of samples in HPLC/GC solvents. Ideal for sterile venting of air or other gases during filtration.
