The syringe guide comes with a syringe installed from the factory. This eliminates the assembly step which can lead to damage of the smaller volume syringes. This is especially critical for 7000 series syringes which have extremely small plunger wires.

Syringes for the PSD/4 syringe pump are available with a standard PTFE tipped plunger and with a long life UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Poly Ethylene) plunger tip. The stroke length of a PSD/4 syringe is 30 mm.

It has a conical plunger tip that extends through the threaded termination and into the valve. This unique design expels the air from the syringe and valve decreasing the number of priming cycles required.

The 1800 series is the reinforced plunger version of the 1700 series syringe. Attached to the flange of the syringe is a removable blue syringe holder that prevents heat transfer, dispense inaccuracies and plunger blow outs. It also provides support to small volume plungers that are prone to bending during injection.

The 600 series syringes are a half stroke version of the original 700 series syringes. This series of syringes is ideal for dispensing volumes from 0,25 μl up to 5 μl. The 600 series is often used in applications that require one handed operation because of the short stroke length and the reinforced plunger.

The syringe holder is permanently attached to the syringe barrel. This reduces the initial cost of the syringe but eliminates the possibility of replacement components.
