MicroFunnel™ Plus Filter Funnels

Units function as sample container and filter funnel in one which eliminates a sample transfer step and protects critical samples from contamination.

The unique squeeze separation makes membrane retrieval easy. Choose from 0,45 µm GN-6 Metricel® (mixed cellulose ester) membrane used for most applications (not compatible with hot water applications), 0,2 and 0,45 µm Supor® (polyethersulfone) membrane to minimize binding of inhibitory substances, or Metricel® Black (modified polyethersulfone) membrane (not compatible with hot water applications) for better contrast with light colored colonies.

Available in 100 and 300 ml capacity. Graduations marked on outside of cylinder for better visibility and easy measurement. Gamma irradiated. Gamma irradiation dose is 15 to 30 kGy.

MicroFunnel™ Plus AP disposable filter funnels allow for aseptic collection of a sample through the sample port on the lid of the filter funnel without removal of the lid. Optional filter holders are recommended for use when collection hot water samples.
