About this item
His GraviTrap™ TALON® is a prepacked gravity flow column for convenient manual purification of histidine-tagged proteins directly from clarified or unclarified cell lysates.
- Convenient histidine-tagged purification with high purity (>90%) and binding capacity of up to 15 mg/column
- Ready-to-use gravity flow column prepacked with 1 ml TALON® Superflow™ cobalt-IMAC medium
- Offering a different selectivity compared to nickel-charged media
- One run takes about 30 minutes, and large sample volumes can be applied all at once
Large sample volumes can be applied in one go, and the histidine-tagged protein is effectively eluted in a small volume. LabMate PD-10 buffer reservoir can be connected to the columns for handling of sample volumes above 10 ml. Leakage of cobalt ions from TALON® Superflow™ medium is negligible.
His GraviTrap™ TALON® columns are delivered in a package that can be converted into a column stand to simplify purification, eliminating the need for additional equipment to complete the protocol. Special column frits protect the chromatography medium from running dry during purification.
