You searched for: Homogenisers
A homogenizer is used for the proper mixing of non-soluble liquids to have the same throughout. Commonly used for sample preparation, the laboratory equipment pieces allow nucleic acids, proteins, cells, metabolism, pathogens, and other target analyses to be accurate. Although different methods may be used, the modern devices guarantee that the material consistency is uniform. Fast-acting homogenizers have sophisticated microprocessors to tailor cell disrupting operations to each specific sample being handled.
Laboratory mixers
Supplier: WARING BLENDOR
Reliable devices with powerful motors. For thorough mixing, dispersion and emulsification. Special cutter heads and high speed operation make these laboratory mixers suitable for many applications. Two basic devices with capacities of 1 or 2 L and a variety of stainless steel, heat resistant glass or PC beakers are available.

Tissue grinders, Tenbroeck type, PYREX®
Supplier: CORNING SCIENCE PRODUCTS
These tissue grinders are designed for use in hand grinding small samples for pathological or biochemical studies. It may also be motor driven at low speed if some form of friction release is provided. Mortar tubes and pestles are ground to be interchangeable. The medium grind provides the required abrasive action to deliver well homogenised samples.

Disposable dispersing elements, for T 10 basic, T 18 digital and T 25 digital
Supplier: IKA JANKE KUNKEL
Disposable, plastic dispersing elements are ideal for applications where cross-contamination cannot be tolerated. Dispersing elements can be thrown away after a single use, or can be re-used several times in applications where this is allowed, with careful cleaning and/or autoclaving. They are ideal for homogenising tissue samples, and particularly suitable for PCR analysis.
