Questo sistema consente di superare i molteplici limiti delle miscele Master per PCR tradizionali, consentendo l'amplificazione non affetta da errore sistematico di fino a cinque sequenze target in un'unica provetta. L'occultamento di ampliconi a basso numero di copie da parte di target di riferimento con numero di copie più elevato durante l'amplificazione è un problema comune nella PCR multiplex. Ciò può deviare o mascherare la rappresentazione e la quantificazione delle sequenze target a basso numero di copie. PerfeCTa® MultiPlex qPCR SuperMix offre una' elevata sensibilità paragonabile a quelle dei saggi mediante sonda in qPCR singleplex senza dover limitare o variare le concentrazioni dei primer.

The 10 mM dNTP mix is a solution of high purity deoxyribonucleoside triphosphates that has been functionally qualified for real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR).
