Human/mouse reference RNA

Total RNA which has been extracted from cell lines representing different human tissues, pooled (10 human) or pooled (11 mouse) and treated to remove DNA to undetectable levels.

• Greater consistency than RNA references derived from tissue sources
• Maximum representation of low, medium, and high abundant gene transcripts
• Manufactured at industrial scale lot sizes and stringently quality controlled for minimised lot-to-lot variation
• No detectable levels of genomic DNA

Typical uses include optimisation of primer/probe sets to ensure no cross reactivity, as a standard to relatively quantitate unknowns to an unchanging reference for immediate validation without wasting precious RNA, or to compare QPCR efficiencies across labs/platforms/experiments.
