SpectraMax® L is upgradeable to include a barcode reader, programmable injectors, and dual-channel configurations for a 2-fold increase in medium throughput. The high sensitivity, low-noise photomultiplier tubes (PMTs), and variable-volume injector configuration make this reader ideal for fast kinetic assays requiring continuous monitoring during injection and measurement.

Dual injector option includes two injectors for the measurement of single and dual flash assays in both 96- and 384-well microplates, Autorinse for the automatic recovery of reagent and rinsing of injector tubing at instrument shut down, and automatic disposal of wash and priming solutions.

Two PMTs with automatic switching option enables wavelength-based measurements such as bioluminescence resonance energy transfer (BRET) assays and a 2-fold increase in throughput for traditional luminescence measurements. Wavelength-based measurements require purchase of appropriate filters.
