Cycloolefin, black pigmented frame, 190 μm ultra-clear film bottom, tissue culture treated, sterile. SCREENSTAR microplates are specialised products for sophisticated microscopic applications, like high content screening (HCS) or high resolution microscopy with water and oil immersion objectives.

  • Resistant against polar solvents (DMSO)

Manufactured entirely of cycloolefin, the microplates feature a black pigmented frame with a 190 μm ultra-clear film bottom for ideal compatibility with instrument optics. Well bottoms display excellent optical properties for the highest optical transparency with reduced autofluorescence in the lower UV range, low birefringence and a refractive index of 1.53 comparable to glass. Recessed microplate wells enable complete periphery access for high magnification objectives.
